How does this tie in with the Cold War?
Cuban had gotten a new leader that hurt many Cubans, so the fled to American known as exiles. Eisenhower helped train them so that they could invade Castro, so the Cubans could take back there home. Soon after Kennedy became president, he hard time believing if he should go on with the invasion. Kennedy thought it would be important to go with Eisenhower would have done, So on April 15, 1961, he started a massive raids of bomb dropping. Except Castro knew because some how all the plans of the Bay of Pigs Invasion got fled out, so Castro was waiting for the exiles to come and attack.
How does the World/ U.S. react?
World: This helped communist spreads which is what many wanted, but what many were running from.
